2021 Black Bass World Championship
Columbia, SC October 16-22, 2022
Capital City Lake Murray Country will host the 2022 16th annual FIPS-ed 2021 Black Bass World Championship in Columbia, South Carolina on Lake Murray. The venue of Lake Murray is a world class bass fishery proven many times by the number of top-level professional bass tournaments hosted there. The southern charm of Columbia, SC and the surrounding area will welcome all international attendees and provide many cherished memories. This world championship is sanctioned by FIPSed International Federation of Fish Sports Freshwater.
Youth Angler Education Day
A one day program designed to expose youth and their families to various aspects of fishing.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore three separate areas to learn about Basic Fishing Skills, Aquatic Ecosystems, and Water/Boating Safety

An event is as strong as its volunteers. Our volunteers help with directing attendees to event locations, boat logistics and gas, handing out ice and lunches, answering spectator questions, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.

Stewards join an international bass team pair, as their judge/steward for 5 days on water. Stewards bring their boat to event at and load a team, which consists of a pair of anglers and gear. Driving them to fishing locations that teams direct and to the daily weigh in.
